9 easy steps to get the RISC OS port of Frodo up and running!
by David Sharp (DavidSharp@ThePentagon.com)

1) Run Frodo
2) Click MENU over the icon bar icon.
3) Select the "Preferences" item.
4) Drag the directory containing the C64 program, from a filer window, to the "8:" writable icon.
The full directory name should appear in the icon.
5) Click Ok - IMPORTANT (I forgot to!)
6) Click SELECT in the Frodo main window, to give it the input focus.
7) Turn Caps Lock OFF. As otherwise the characters entered are not the correct characters - try it and see.
8) Where name is the leafname eg. dadb, of the program file, note, case-insensitive! Type:
LOAD "name",8,1
Note, to get quote marks " to appear on the C64 from an Acorn keyboard, you need to do a SHIFT-2 which would normally produce an @. The icon next to the 8: toolbar on the main frodo window will turn green, to symbolise the reading from disk. You should then get the prompt, "READY."
9) Type:
RUN
Then just wait till the program loads.

It's probably a good idea to press Scroll-Lock, to toggle single-tasking mode, if you've got a slow computer like me!
