Description:

This archive contains a number of tools that come in handy with PCL
printers (such as the HP LaserJet and DeskJet printers). Except for
the PDumperLJ module all programs are command line driven (I just
don't have the time to program GUIs for each of these).

PDumperLJ:     New PDumper for LaserJet (3 or newer) printers (works
               with some DeskJets but won't improve anything there).
               With LaserJets it can dramatically shrink the printout
               size.

ASC2PCL:       For LJ only: Fast, simple formatted text printing
               (thumbnails) and powerful search/replace engine.

PackPCL:       For LJ only: Creates PCL raster data from black & white
               sprites or compresses raster areas in a given PCL file.

PlaceRaster:   For LJ only: Use in conjunction with the output PackPCL
               creates from sprites.

ReadPCL:       Reads PCL raster data (b&w, CMY, CMYK) and converts it
               into sprites (1 or 4 bpp).
